Last updated: 2026-06-18
1. Acceptance of Terms
Auventra is operated by Mocube Consulting Inc. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Auventra provides online bookkeeping and invoicing tools for freelancers and small businesses. Features include invoice creation, expense tracking, bank sync, and financial reporting.
3. Accounts and Subscriptions
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
4. Payments, Billing & Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, refunds, chargebacks, and tax (VAT/GST/sales tax) compliance on our behalf.
Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the service for unlawful purposes or fraud; (b) infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; (c) transmit malware or attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the security of the service; (d) scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code; (e) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service; or (f) circumvent technical limits or usage quotas.
6. Data and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely as needed to provide the service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform during your subscription. All platform code, design, documentation, and branding remain the property of Mocube Consulting Inc.
7. Service Availability & Warranties
Auventra is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription. Upon termination, your access ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
